How?
All garments are inspected four times.
- At the counter in consultation with the customer,
- Before dry cleaning for stains, special fabric care, and other considerations,
- By pressing department,
- Final inspection before bagging.
There are two basic types of cleaning processes used most often, dry cleaning and wet cleaning. Depending upon your garment’s care label, stains, and our professional experience, it is determined which will be the most beneficial. Dry cleaning uses a solvent, enhanced by soap and sizing, which has no water in it. Wet cleaning uses water as the base, with special soaps and other additives for the cleaning process. Both processes include specialized equipment designed to make your garment look its best.
Stains?
No Problem!
Professionals use steam in combination with specialized spotting chemicals for every potential stain. Some of our most common stains include food, beverages, blood, grease, ink, rust, cosmetics, grass, pet stains, and more.
Why might a stain not come out?
Occasionally, a stain might have been previously treated at home or been in a garment for an extended period of time which can cause the fabric to resist our stain removing processes. When a spill or stain occurs, it is best to leave it untreated and bring it in as soon as possible. Often, even wiping or scrubbing the fabric can impact the likelihood to remove the stain. If it can be removed, our team can make your spot disappear.
